LIVE Teams Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

LIVE Teams ("LIVE Teams", "we", "us", or "our") provides a mobile and web application that helps sports teams, clubs, and organizers manage rosters, schedule events, share photos and posts, chat, track attendance, and stay connected. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use LIVE Teams, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using LIVE Teams, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

When you create an account we collect your name and a profile photo (if you add one), and any other details you choose to add to your profile, such as a team or jersey role.

Phone number (authentication)

LIVE Teams uses phone-number sign-in. We collect your phone number to send a one-time verification code and to identify your account. Your phone number may also be used to recognize invitations sent to that number.

Contacts (for inviting people)

If you choose to invite teammates, you may grant access to your device contacts so you can select people to invite. We use the contacts you select only to send or attribute invitations. We do not upload your entire address book to build a marketing database.

Camera and photos

With your permission, LIVE Teams accesses your camera and photo library so you can set a profile or team avatar and share photos in game posts and team feeds. Photos you choose to upload are stored so they can be shown to members of your team or organization.

Location

With your permission, LIVE Teams may use approximate or precise location to help set and display event locations, show venues on a map, and provide directions. You can decline or revoke location access in your device settings; some location-based convenience features may then be limited.

Content you create

We collect the content you submit through the app, including chat messages, posts, comments, event details, RSVPs and attendance responses, and documents you share with your team or organization.

Usage and device data

We collect basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as device type, operating system, app version, log and diagnostic data, and how you interact with features. This helps us keep the app reliable and secure.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Service Providers (Processors)

We use trusted third-party providers to operate LIVE Teams. They process data on our behalf so we can run the service:

ProviderPurpose
Google Firebase AuthenticationPhone-number sign-in and account identity
Google Cloud FirestoreStores app data such as profiles, teams, events, messages, RSVPs
Google Firebase StorageStores uploaded photos and shared files
Google Firebase Cloud MessagingDelivers push notifications
Google MapsDisplays maps, venues, and directions for event locations

These providers handle data under their own terms and security practices.

4. Meta Platform Data (Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp)

Where a business we operate connects its own Instagram professional account, Facebook Page or WhatsApp Business account to LIVE Teams, we receive a limited amount of data from Meta so that we can read and reply to messages sent to that business. Meta refers to this as Platform Data.

What we receiveWhy
Instagram-scoped user ID (IGSID) or Page-scoped ID of the person messagingTo identify the conversation thread and send the reply back to the right person
Message content sent to the business, and public comments on its postsTo answer the question that was asked
Username or display name, where Meta provides itTo show a readable name in the business inbox
Instagram/Page account ID and access token of the connected businessTo send replies on that business's behalf
WhatsApp phone number ID and business account IDTo send booking confirmations, reminders and replies

How we use it. Only to operate the messaging feature for that business: replying to enquiries, sending booking confirmations and reminders, and showing the conversation to that business's own staff. We do not use Platform Data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not share it with other businesses on our platform, and we do not use it to build profiles of people across businesses.

Where it is stored. In Google Cloud Firestore (United States), as described in section 3. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to a browser.

How long we keep it. Messages and conversation records are kept for as long as the business keeps its account with us, and are deleted within 30 days of that business disconnecting its Meta account or closing its account with us.

How to have it deleted. A person who has messaged one of these businesses may request deletion of their messages and identifiers by emailing going.pro.with.ivan@gmail.com; we action such requests within 30 days. A connected business can revoke our access at any time from its own Meta Business settings or Instagram app settings, which immediately stops any further data being received.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share information only with the service providers listed above, with the team or organization members you choose to share content with, and where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Content you shared with a team (for example, group messages) may remain visible to that team even after you leave or delete your account.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls provided by our cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated personal data, subject to the retention notes in Section 5. If you are unable to access the app, you may request deletion by emailing support@liveteams.app from the phone number or account email associated with your account.

9. Children and Youth Sports

LIVE Teams is designed for use by sports teams and clubs, including youth teams. The app is intended to be set up and managed by adults — coaches, organizers, and parents or guardians. Where minors participate, a parent, guardian, or responsible adult is expected to manage the minor's participation, account, and the information shared about them. If you believe a minor has provided us information without appropriate adult involvement, please contact us so we can address it.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will honor valid requests as required by law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

12. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at support@liveteams.app.
